Mushroom chilly fry (Serves 4)

Mushroom chilly fry

This is an easy preparation with mushrooms and is very much my own creation. It turned out to be one flavorful dish with mushrooms and is best with rotis or naans. Hope you all will like it too.

Mushrooms 1 (8 oz )packet, sliced
Red onions 1 medium, thinly sliced
Cashew nuts 2 TBSP
Red chilly powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Tomato ketch up 1 TBSP
Soy sauce 1 TBSP
Green chilly sauce ½ tsp
Salt as needed
Oil 2 tsp

Mushroom chilly fry

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan at medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent and add the cashew nuts. Stir well and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Now add the red chilly powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well to combine and cook for about 5-10 minutes or until raw smell from the powders are all gone. Next add, tomato ketch up, soy sauce and green chilly sauce. Mix well and add the mushrooms. Mix well to coat the mushrooms with the masala and cook covered for about 10 minutes or until mushrooms are completely cooked. Switch off flame and serve hot with rotis…
